A huge and exciting project with large logistic and safety challenges. Over 600 cast and crew working in remote environments, not to mention Tom Cruise insisting on doing all his own stunts! This included all of his helicopter flying scenes, all throughout Fiordland and Mt Aspiring National parks.
Every day 13 helicopters would fly to exciting remote places and do daredevil stunts, Oh and try and shoot at each other!
